My name is Bret Busby, and I have set up this web site, to provide genealogy information for Busby people of Australia and New Zealand.
This web site and what it involves, are subject to change, and I will be working on it as time goes on.
In the nineteenth century, a number of different Busby family lines migrated to Australia and New Zealand, and, some of the family lines split between the two countries, with some family members settling in Australia, and some, settling in New Zealand, so, having descendants spread across the two countries, with some descendants, not being aware of the family lines in the other country.
This web site aims to encourage genealogical research, to facilitate Busby descendants becoming more aware of both our ancestry, and, our living relatives across the two countries (and, beyond the two countries).
